She has worked on terminal Pleistocene to the middle Holocene submerged landscapes along the U.S. East Coast of the Atlantic as well as the Gulf of Mexico since 2005. Her specific research questions focus on coastal population dynamics of foragers, their reactions to sea level rise and climate change, and site formation processes in submerged sites.
