Visible to: public

Time zone: London
Reminder: 2 hours before
Ends: 14:00 (duration is about 1 hour)

The first VG meeting will be on Weds 19th September at 1pm in Richmond K5. The group’s open to all staff and students and we look at lots of different aspects of visualisation in archaeological/forensic research. In prep, we want you to watch a documentary called ANCIENT INVISIBLE CITIES which just came out on BBC (it’s on iPlayer). It’s a really interesting look at the capabilities of laser scanning. Give it a watch, and we’ll discuss it at the first meeting!

We would also love to hear about what students have been up to this summer – especially those who’ve just handed in their Masters dissertations. If you want to give a short presentation (or a long one!) about your research, then just let Li or Helen know by email and we will put you down on the schedule.

Our meetings are bi-weekly and usually on Wednesdays at 1pm. Ask Li or Helen to add you to the mailing list if you aren’t already, for more details.
