Dr Damian Robinson continues the Spring Semester guest lecture series with a presentation of his research expeditions to the Egyptian coast.

Damian is the Director of the Oxford Centre for Maritime Archaeology, School of Archaeology, University of Oxford, and has been involved with underwater excavations at the lost (and now found) cities of Thonis-Heracleion and Canpus. Many of the artefacts recovered during these excavations were recently displayed during the special exhibition “Sunken Cities: Egypt’s Lost Worlds” at the British Museum.

We hope that you will be able to join us in welcoming Damian to the University of Bradford, and enjoy the presentation of this exciting underwater research.
