Teaching and Learning in Archaeology & Heritage 2021 – a free, online conference that is open to all who teach and learn in archaeology and heritage. Papers will specifically focus on Higher Education, and consider the past, present and future of teaching and learning in archaeology. The conference is on 15th September 2021 and will run from 2pm – 10.30pm BST (to accommodate multiple time zones). Please feel free to drop into the conference and/or attend individual sessions if you’re unable to attend the whole event.

At the end of the day we will have a roundtable session dedicated to those at the start of their teaching career (Graduate Teaching Assistants, Demonstrators, and those who haven’t taught yet but want to). In this relaxed and informal session, we will discuss the challenges and needs of being a Teaching Assistant in Archaeology today, share tips, pointers and space for reflection and provide an opportunity to meet peers.

Full details, including programme and code of conduct can be found here: https://archaeologytandl.wordpress.com/teaching-and-learning-in-archaeology-and-heritage-conference-2021/
