SAFS is CIFA accredited!

SAF are delighted to announce that CIfA and UAUK announced that degree programmes offered by the University of Bradford have been given professional accreditation for a further five years.

Honorary Chair of the CIfA Board Pen Foreman said “We are thrilled that our established accredited degrees at Reading, Bradford, UCL and Durham will be renewed for a further five years, building on the foundation of excellence they demonstrate in training and developing the next generation of archaeologists. It is also excellent to see new degree programmes at Reading, Archaeology and Anthropology, and at Bradford, BSc Forensic Archaeology & Anthropology, being accredited for a period of five years and added to the roster of accredited degrees. Students will really benefit from the diverse range of knowledge and skills represented by these universities.”

Dr Jodie Lewis, who led the accreditattion process in the school said –
“We are delighted that our BSc Archaeology and BSc Forensic Archaeology & Anthropology programmes at the University of Bradford have been accredited by CIfA and UAUK for a further five years. This recognition underscores our commitment to providing high-quality education and training in the fields of archaeology and anthropology. We are proud to uphold the high standards required for this accreditation.”
