Now that's what we call impact! Hancock v Dibble and the work of our own Dr Jess Cook-Hale and the Submerged Landscape Centre

19 Apr by Gaffney, Vince

Don’t miss the Joe Rogan Experience featuring Graham Hancock v Flint Dibble discussing lost civilisations following the recent publication (and retraction) of a paper on the Gunung Padang “pyramid”.

We leave the reader to decide where the truth lies – but the second image in this post is a tweet by Alice Roberts and clarifies the nature of the evidence being discussed.

You will know that Graham Hancock, formerly a foreign correspondent for “The Economist,” is now known for publications including “Fingerprints of the Gods,” “Magicians of the Gods” and “America Before,” which propose a lost civilization destroyed in a global cataclysm some 12,000 years ago. Flint Flint Dibble works around the Mediterranean region and has a YouTube channel, “Archaeology with Flint Dibble,”

We flatter ourselves that we know something about this old stuff beneath the sea and, in this fierce debate, the work of our very own Dr Jess Cook-Hale, and the Submerged Landscape centre at Bradford, came up on a number of occasions- so buckle up and login to get the full experience at – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DL1_EMIw6w

PS – the programme lasts more than 4 hours -so we suggest some sandwiches and a bottle of wine may be needed – if short of time go to 1:11:19 and 43:13!
