Bradford research at Swandro was the centre of an article in the Economist this week, highlighting the effect of climate change on coastal archaeological sites. The article notes that “Unesco, the cultural arm of the United Nations, estimates that one in six cultural heritage sites is threatened by climate change. Hundreds of sites on the Scottish coastline face threats similar to Swandro.”
