Prof Joanne Clarke discusses marine risk and heritage policy with SAFS staff

Professor Joanne Clarke (University of East Anglia) led a discussion on heritage risk and climate impacts with staff of the Submerged Landscape Centre.

In a wide ranging discussion, the thorny issues of where marine palaeolandscape fits in current debate was considered and how such work can engage with current policy at a regional, national and international level.

Prof Clarke was a contributing author to the IPCC’s Assessment Report 6, Working Group II on Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability and she is currently a lead author for the United Nations Environment Programme’s, Global Environment Outlook.
