On May 7th, 2019 an 11-day expedition by European scientists from Belgium and Britain was undertaken to explore three sites of potential geological and archaeological interest in the southern North Sea. Here is the first of a series of short reports on the project and a brief outline of the results . There will be more to tell as the residues from the grabs and dredges are sorted back on land.
