Andy Jagger Fund 2018

11 Jun 2018 by Eddy Faber

Every year SAFS makes a few awards in memory of Andy Jagger, a former archaeology student at Bradford. The Andy Jagger Fund is open to all University of Bradford archaeology students. The main objective is to support students to enhance their studies or their research programmes. To this end, awards can be used to support travel, subsistence and accommodation, conference registration costs and so on. Priority will be given to applicants who identify clear benefits to their studies, research programme or to future careers. Examples might include fieldwork, placement activity, site, museum or laboratory visits and attendance at conferences. In the case of final year students, awards can be made to support an activity after your graduation.

The awards are available to UoB students registered for undergraduate degrees in archaeology, archaeological sciences, forensic and archaeological science, as well as all taught and research postgraduate students.
The deadline for applications is 11am on Monday 18th June 2018.

Students should have received an email about the Andy Jagger Fund, but if not please get in touch with Chris Gaffney (c.gaffney@bradford.ac.uk).
