Funded Studentships for Masters study at SAFS

There are two funded studentships for full-time Masters level study in Human Osteology and Palaeopathology /Archaeological Sciences/Forensic Archaeology in the School of Archaeological and Forensic Sciences at the University of Bradford.

AHRC Heritage Consortium Master’s Studentship
The studentship, valued at £8,933, will cover the course fee and a small allowance, subject to eligibility criteria.
The award, linked to the AHRC Heritage Consortium, will provide funding to a high quality applicant. The funding will allow you to focus on developing high level skills and competencies for research and professional practice.

School of Archaeological and Forensic Sciences Endowed Scholarship
This award is open to a range of topics in line with the research and teaching of the School. It is expected that applicants will demonstrate a high level of research potential.
The scholarship is to a value of £10,000 to cover fees and a small allowance. Eligibility criteria apply to funding.

How to apply
The awards can be used to fund a full-time place on any of our Master’s programmes starting in September 2018:
• MSc Human Osteology and Palaeopathology
• MSc Archaeological Sciences
• MSc Forensic Archaeology & Crime Scene Investigation
Applicants must first apply to the University for admission to the appropriate programme of study, and complete an application form which includes a statement which summarises relevant experience and interest in the subject. Deadline 31st May 2018.
