19 Feb 2018 by Eddy Faber

The School of Archaeological and Forensic Sciences welcomes another new PhD student this month. Helen McCreary is beginning her study of remote sensing. Helen is a 2017 graduate of Bradford’s MSc Archaeological Prospection course, having previously graduated from Yale University, USA, in 2013. Her MSc dissertation focused on using drones to create 3D models of archaeological sites, and integrating the resultant digital elevation models (DEMs) with geophysical survey. Helen’s PhD studies will continue this research, further incorporating multispectral imagery. Check out some of her work on Sketchfab!
