More cores from the North Sea

18 Sep 2017 by Gaffney, Vince

The latest batch of Lost Frontier project cores arrived in Lampeter, from the North Sea, at the end of last week. Welcomed by Dr Martin Bates, and his 4 legged friend, the cores will be stored at the university before division and sampling at Warwick and Birmingham. More than 60 cores represent more than 200 metres of sediment available for analysis – that should keep us going!
