Are you looking for the next step after graduation, or uncertain how to develop the skills which employers are searching for? A Masters degree from the School of Archaeological and Forensic Sciences, University of Bradford, will prepare you for real-world employment, enhance practical and scientific skills, and involve you in cutting-edge research.

We are currently offering a funded studentship to study for an MSc in Archaeological Sciences, Human Osteology and Palaeopathology, or Forensic Archaeology and Crime Scene Investigation.

Our Masters programmes are taught by world-leading experts whose research revolves around three themes: Social and biological identities; Archaeological and heritage sciences; and Landscape and settlement archaeology.

Our facilities include Bradford Visualisation, which specialises in survey, imaging, digitisation and visualisation for heritage research; our Isotope laboratory; the Biological Anthropology Research Centre (BARC), with the largest collection of human skeletal remains of any UK university (over 4,000 skeletons); and new, state-of-the-art teaching and research labs, including an Anatomy Suite and Virtual Autopsy table.

By the end of the Master’s programme, you will have gained specialist knowledge and practical skills which will prepare you for a career in archaeology or forensics, and equip you with transferable skills for other disciplines and industries.

We are proud that 85% of postgraduates in Archaeological and Forensic Sciences at Bradford achieve work or further studies in the discipline or cognate areas. Come and see for yourself!
