Death Matters - Continuing Bonds

There are some events happening around Bradford as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week, 8th-14th May – part of the National week to encourage people to talk about death (with an aim of appreciating life, so it isn’t all doom & gloom!) http://www.dyingmatters.org/page/AwarenessWeek2017

The Continuing Bonds team are also running a workshop on Friday 12th (open to the public, no need to be a healthcare professional for this one!)

Dr Croucher will be also running an archaeology/creative writing workshop at Hebden Bridge:
Remembering the Dead: Archaeology & Creative Writing. Memorial objects recovered by archaeologists will be used to explore concepts of memorialisation.
The workshops will run twice on Tuesday 9th May, 11-1 and 2-4 at The Space, Hebden Bridge, and will be led by Dr Karina Croucher of, University of Bradford, and Dr Melanie Giles, University of Manchester.
